草榴社区Health Science Students Train Peers on Health Saving Techniques
草榴社区health science students have been busy training their peers and performing blood pressure screenings at 草榴社区North and Newburgh Armory Scholars in Scrubs!
Seniors who are part of the Health Science Pathway are now trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), certified through the American Heart Association and certified BLS Instructor Linda Romano.
The pathway program has听been conducting training clinics where the seniors are teaching faculty, staff, and students throughout 草榴社区North.听
This student lead project began听at the start of the month and will continue听throughout February. The students have a goal to train as many as possible to use and AED and hands only CPR.听
