US History Students Research Historical Contributions of Women
草榴社区United History students explore historical contributions of women in recognition and celebration of Women's History Month.
Women have not always been given the opportunity to make political and economic decisions in America. That does not mean they were not part of political and economic decisions. Many women wrote and debated important topics like Democracy, Abolition, Reform, and Suffrage. After the 19th amendment, women started to take a greater role in Business, Science, Math, and many other industries. This project explored some of these women and evaluated their contribution to US History.
Their research is on display in the hallway for classmates and educators to learn from throughout the month of March.
Story and photos provided by US History teacher, Mr. Timothy Underhill.
