草榴社区Marching Band Performs for Purple Heart Ceremony
The Newburgh Free Academy Marching Band performed at a Purple Heart Ceremony at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center last week. saluted their with a public Welcome Home Rally at the Armory.
Sergeant Major and 草榴社区Alumna, Mary Kay Messenger from the West Point Army Band sang the National Anthem with accompaniment from the 草榴社区Marching Band. The marching band also played a series of patriotic tunes as guests arrived. The 草榴社区Marching Band was greeted by Mr. William Kaplan, 草榴社区class of 1945.
The 草榴社区Marching Band is directed by Ms. Kristina Martorano with assistance from Dr. Paul Carroll.
