Beginning in August
ALL incoming 9th grade students are invited to attend.
THIS WILL BE A DYNAMIC TWO-WEEK EXPERIENCE BEGINNING AUGUST 12TH - 23RD FROM 8:30AM - 12PM MONDAY - FRIDAY
NYGEAR UP ORIENTATION & SUMMER BRIDGE TO HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
WILL INCLUDE:
- Preparation for high school core classes (Math, English, Science, Social Studies)
- 草榴社区Campus tours (Main, North, West)
- Pathways to success at NFA
- Guest Speakers
- Field Trips
- 2-Day Orientation (Meet and greet high school staff)
- Reading Comprehension & Financial Literacy
- NYS Dept. of Labor Career Workshops
